| Calvary Academy in
South Milwaukee, WI - www.calvaryacademy.net
Since 1989, Calvary Academy has offered help for families with
children who are experiencing behavioral difficulties. The Academy
accepts students from all over the country, thus necessitating a
nationwide fundraising campaign. In the initial Leaders Meeting,
specific tasks were assigned with timelines and checklists to insure
the widest possible participation at the Event Orientation Rally.
Teachers, parents, school administrators, and past donors were present
for the Orientation and training. Three weeks after the Rally, the
Abound consultant conducted a conference call for all the golfers
to provide additional motivation. Due to a well-run campaign that
involved weekly accountability and encouragement, Calvary Academy
raised $36,832 in their first year campaign.

| Dane County 100 Hole
Challenge
Three Dane County non-profits collaborated together to form one
powerful Abound fundraising campaign. The Jericho Project, Campus
Crusade for Christ, and Middleton Outreach Ministry approached Abound
about doing a 3-way combined campaign. While this approach is a
bit nontraditional, the 3 groups wanted to display their unity to
the community. The synergy and excitement generated was contagious
for all participants. The healthy competition between the groups
was helpful also. On the day of the 100 Hole Challenge, we all met
together at Lake Windsor Country Club, played 100 holes of golf,
and raised $46,549. The Abound fundraising strategy brought 3 separate
groups together to create one powerful impact in the community.

| Liberty Classical Academy
in Minneapolis, MN - www.libertyclassicalacademy.org
LCA is a brand new school in the Twin Cities that promotes a classical
education based on a Christian world view. The challenge we had
was to insure that LCA would get started in the Abound campaign
in the strongest way and set a standard for excellence in fundraising.
After consultation with the board and LCA administrator Rebekah
Hagstrom, , it was evident that LCA was committed to excellence
in their school and in their fundraising. It was a good fit for
an Abound campaign. During the Event Orientation Rally, many people
shared testimonies of the fun and excitement of contacting their
network and being surprised by the receptivity of their friends
to support them. By the end of the campaign, $42,559 was raised
in a school with less than 40 students.
